Great service and great food. We opted to share the Lamb Testi(Turkish Lamb stew cooked in a clay pot). We got some complimentary starters and drinks ordered was a Efes beer and Blue Hawaiian cocktail. Both came quickly and ice cold. The food came piping hot with a small show and the flavour was amazing. Had great service and staff understood and spoke a bit of English. Overall great experience!
Walking around the centre we passed this little gem twice before stopping to have a look at the menu, I’m so happy that we did because the food was exceptional!!!!! Davuit, who has been there for 25yrs will recommend the dishes to your taste, our recommendation was the lamb shank with lamb chops of which we were not disappointed. Served with chips, salad and fries, our tastebuds were dancing all over the place. The bread, tzatziki and tomato dip were so delicious, we had to ask for more. The lamb melted on our tongues and would have to say that this was the best meal that we have had in Istanbul. The complimentary tea and baclava hit the spot. A great dining experience. Excellent service to match the well executed menu. We will definitely be back
Very friendly, yummy and not so intrusive while walking along. Good quality and the price is okay. A good place to rest after an long sightseeing day. A place to feel welcome and comfortable. Good service and there ist a ventilator for feeling very well. Try it, you won't regret.
It’s so quiet at this restaurant. There’s no car traffic at all anywhere around. So it’s a very peaceful place to eat. I had a dish under the casserole section, called Sultan favorite lamb for 950.TL. It was incredibly delicious. I had the wine by the glass, which is good, but overpriced.
Excellent restaurant with a friendly and attentive staff. The outdoor seating is nice, even when it is cold outside. The menu was extensive, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding something you like. It's also a good place to just chill out and have a beer too.
